As part of its ongoing efforts to digitally empower Jordanian youth, the Digital Skills Association, in partnership with New Horizons, celebrated the graduation of 121 trainees who successfully completed an intensive six-month training program for Data Science and Data Analytics. This initiative falls under the Training and Employment Grant—one of the programs funded by the Youth, Technology, and Jobs Project under the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.
This local program is considered one of the most distinguished national initiatives, aiming to develop digital skills and increase employment opportunities among Jordanian youth. The success of the initiative stems from strategic partnerships with over 14 training service providers across different regions of the Kingdom, carefully selected for their experience in training and employment.
New Horizons focused this round of training on equipping youth with expertise in two highly demanded digital specializations in both the local and international markets:
1. Data Analytics
2. Data Science & AI
The program’s role does not end at graduation. Continued professional and operational support is offered through several key pathways:
1. Facilitating active employment opportunities with private sector partners
2. Supporting graduates in freelancing or launching entrepreneurial tech projects
3. Ongoing coordination with the Digital Skills Association and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship to support graduates’ career growth and ease their transition into the labor market
This success marks another milestone in the national effort to empower Jordanian youth, enhance their digital capabilities, and foster innovation through investment in human capital.
