The DigiSkills Association held its 2025 General Assembly meeting on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, chaired by Dr. Alaa Ensheiwat and attended by members of the General Assembly of the Association. The meeting covered key items on the agenda, including a review of last year’s achievements and a discussion of the Association’s upcoming development plans.

Operating under the supervision of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, the Association continues to play a pivotal role in building a comprehensive national digital-skills ecosystem in Jordan. Its work focuses on equipping youth with market-relevant competencies through strong engagement with the private sector and a data-driven understanding of labor-market needs, ensuring that training programs are directly aligned with viable employment opportunities.

During the meeting, the 2024 financial statements were presented and officially approved by the General Assembly. Members also endorsed the appointment of the financial auditor and legal advisor for 2025, and granted the Board of Directors a discharge of liability,  recognizing its efforts and accomplishments over the past year.

Moreover, and to uphold good governance and strengthen the Board’s effectiveness in the coming phase, the General Assembly elected two new Board members to replace outgoing members. The elected members are:

  • Amira Qarqash
  • Nidal Bitar

This renewal aims to infuse new expertise that will reinforce the Association’s continued growth and expand its impact within Jordan’s digital-skills sector.

Looking ahead, DigiSkills Association is preparing to implement a set of advanced programs and initiatives throughout 2026, further strengthening its role in youth empowerment, supporting the digital economy, and fostering high-quality employment opportunities in the local market.
