Digital Skills Association Celebrates the Graduation of 100 Students from a Training Program Specializing in Microelectronics

As part of the Digital Skills Association Training Programs, funded by the Youth, Technology, and Jobs Project under the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Princess Sumaya University for Technology celebrated the graduation of 100 trainees from a unique training program aimed at equipping Jordanian youth for the workforce in the specialization of Integrated Circuit Design and Microelectronics.

This achievement is part of the largest grant for digital skills development and employment, one of the leading national initiatives of the Digital Skills Association. The program is implemented in partnership with 14 training service providers across various locations around the Kingdom. To date, the grants have successfully trained more than 2,000 Jordanian youth in specialized digital tracks, helping to provide employment opportunities and stable income for the target group.

In partnership with the global leader Synopsys Inc., Princess Sumaya University for Technology offered this intensive four-month training program, which included two specialized technical tracks:
1. Design Verification
2. Physical Design

This program is distinguished by its high academic quality and practical component, simulating real work environments in advanced technology companies. It also includes final projects and assessment sessions to prepare trainees for the job market. Registration for this program exceeded 80%, reflecting strong interest and active student participation in simulating integrated circuits and blending technical expertise with presentation skills to support workplace readiness.

Following graduation, coordination efforts are made to connect graduates with job opportunities in specialized local and international companies, freelance work, or further academic study. The Digital Skills Association, in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and the Youth, Technology, and Jobs Project, continues to follow up with graduates to ensure sustained impact.
