Dr. Qutaibah Albluwi

 

Qutaiba is an academic and professional consultant with 16+ years of experience in the domain of cybersecurity. He serves as the Dean of the School of Computing and Informatics at Al Hussein Technical University (HTU).

 

He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Rhode Island in the United States in 2018, in collaboration with the Digital Forensics and Cybersecurity Center. His research focused on developing a comprehensive performance evaluation framework for computer security incident response capacities.

 

He also completed an advanced graduate degree in the area of Digital Forensics in 2015, an M.Sc. in Wireless Networks from Queen's University in Canada in 2009, and a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering. In addition to digital forensics and incident response, he has research and professional experience in the domains of cybersecurity policy, cybersecurity management, cryptography, and cybersecurity ethics.

 

He is active in delivering public lectures and workshops that focus on raising public awareness and building capacity to protect critical infrastructure.

 

He currently serves on several national cybersecurity committees, including the Advisory Committee for the Jordanian National Council of Cybersecurity and the Educational Committee for Cybersecurity Programs.
